Patchwork Camo Paneled Straight Jeans

The Patchwork Camo Paneled Straight Jeans are constructed entirely from reclaimed denim scraps collected from the NTMB archive.

Different panels of vintage and leftover blue denim are individually selected, cut and sewn together to create a new patchwork surface. The different washes, shades and original details of each denim fragment remain visible, turning discarded materials into a completely reconstructed pair of jeans.

Throughout the garment, hand-distressed openings reveal an upcycled camouflage fabric layer underneath. The contrast between the light blue denim, raw frayed edges and military camouflage creates depth across both the front and back of the jeans.

Craftsmanship

The jeans are built by combining individual denim scraps from the NTMB archive. Each fragment is selected according to its wash, texture and original construction details, then cut and sewn together to form a completely new pair of jeans.

Selected areas are distressed by hand to expose the camouflage layer underneath. Raw edges, visible fraying, different denim shades and variations in the original fabrics are intentional elements of the design.

Sustainability

This piece is created entirely through upcycling, using existing denim scraps from the NTMB archive together with reclaimed camouflage fabric. The construction gives new purpose to materials left over from previous garments and productions, without relying on newly produced denim for the main structure.

Due to the nature of reclaimed materials, every pair may feature slight variations in denim wash, patch placement, distressing and camouflage pattern, making each piece unique.
